The Original Earslide – Designed in 1996 by Naomi Janette Fron

I designed the “Earslide” in 1996 to satisfy my customers who were not able to wear an earring on the market at the time called an “Ear Pin because they did not have pierced ears.  I was at a Gem and Mineral Show in Charlotte, North Carolina and business was slow so I had time to experiment with designs. What I came up with was my Earslide which fits on your ear like a bobby pin; if you do have pierced ears, you can still wear your earrings with the Earslide. I sell them in pairs and you can order custom colors to match any outfit in your wardrobe. Even on the Silver Earslides, I use the 14Kt. Gold-filled Wire as the base due to the temper of the wire; the Silver wire is too flexible and lacks the “spring” in the wire to hold it’s shape. I use Sterling Silver, Gold-filled, many colors of Czech Glass, and Natural Stone beads.
